What can I expect from the Dopamine Land experience?
Dopamine Land is an indoor interactive sensory museum that combines media, technology and play into one place. It is a gallery made up of individual rooms that are aimed to trigger a gentle release of the happiness hormone ‘dopamine’. At Dopamine Land our guests can take a break from the outside world, bring some colour back into their day and capture some joyful moments on camera.
Where is the experience located?
The venue will be at 5333 Wisconsin Avenue NW Washington DC 20015. It’s at a shopping center which has a car park and is close to metro transit stations.
Is it COVID secure and safe?
Local regulations for COVID safety will apply.
Will parking be available?
There is a paid parking garage available at the Friendship shopping center directly next door, as well as metered street parking available nearby.
Is the experience accessible for deaf people?
Yes, the experience is primarily visual with informative signage throughout the venue.
Will there be strobe lights?
The experience may contain strobe lights, if strobe lights affect you, please do let our staff know upon arrival.
Will food and beverage be available on site for purchase?
Yes, there will be food and non-alcoholic beverages available on site for purchase at our central Bubble Bar upon entry and exit.
Can I take photos or record the experience?
Feel free to take photos and share them. When taking photos, please make sure not to disturb other customers. Professional equipment and tripods are not permitted.
How long does the experience last?
The experience takes approximately 50 minutes, a few of the rooms are timed to help with crowd control.
Will I be able to pay cash?
The online tickets can only be paid by card via the app or website.
What are the differences between the tickets?
The different ticket purchase options are below. Babes in arms do not need a ticket.
- Adult (ages 16+)
- Child (2–15)
- Senior (65+), Student, or Military - valid ID required
- Group Bundle (min. 5 people)
All children must enter with an adult to the event. Fever aligns with the ratio of 1 adult to 3 children.
What is the Oxygen Bar?
Guests can take a spot at the Oxygen Bar to relax and breathe in oxygen enriched air, enhanced with a selection of specialty aromas.
From which age onwards do I not need to be accompanied by an adult?
From the age of 16 onwards. Children cannot be left alone at any time.
Is the show suitable for pregnant people?
The experience requires the audience to be on their feet, moving around the venue for approximately 50 minutes, however the experience does not feature tension or highly physical movements. We suggest you speak to the manager on arrival to discuss any specific requirements so that they can assist.
Is there a place where I can leave my belongings?
There will not be a cloakroom at the entrance.
I have a stroller. Can I take it with me in the experience?
Strollers are not allowed within the experience. We do offer an area to leave your stroller, please note that this area will not be manned. Baby carriers/slings are allowed.
Are there any areas to be seated in the experience?
The experience will have benches throughout.
Will restrooms be available?
There are restrooms available.
ACCESS
Who is required to complete a liability waiver?
All guests are required to complete a Liability Waiver upon arriving on site. Children under 18 years of age must be added to their parent’s or legal guardian’s waiver.
Do I need to wear a mask?
Masks are not required at the event as per current COVID guidelines (subject to change if the government guidelines change).
Do I need to arrive at the start of my scheduled session?
It is recommended that you arrive within the time stated on your ticket.
What happens if I arrive late?
If you happen to arrive late, your entry will be dependent on if there is space available. This may result in an undefined waiting period or no entry to the experience.
Can I bring animals?
No this event is not pet friendly, service animals are allowed with proper documentation.
Is there an age requirement?
All ages are welcome! All children and minors under the age of 16 need to be accompanied by adults.
Is it appropriate for young kids?
Yes, families and children are always welcome. Dopamine Land is a great day out with the kids. We recommend our day sessions for families and late evening sessions to be tailored to adults. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
The exhibit is wheelchair accessible. Due to the nature of the experience some parts of this experience may be less suited to customers with physical access requirements.
What are the prohibited items at the experience?
Weapons, smoking, vaping, drugs, outside food & beverage.

Do I need to print my ticket?
No, printing is not needed.

Can I purchase a ticket at the event?
It is recommended that you buy tickets in advance, tickets onsite will be dependent on capacity and availability.
Where can I get tickets?
Can I change my ticket? Are tickets refundable?
Subject to availability, changes of date and/or time are permitted up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience. In such a case, please contact us indicating your ticket ID. Refunds are not allowed under any circumstances. For more information, you can refer to our T&Cs.
Is there a Military discount?
Yes, there is special pricing available for Military, with valid ID.
Do you offer a group discount?
Yes, groups with up to fourteen people can easily book tickets via our ticketing system reserving the Group Bundle ticket type. Requests for larger groups with 15+ people can be submitted here.
Please note that group sizes entering the experience at one time may be limited due to venue limitations and production elements.
Is there a suggested dress code for this experience?
There is no specific dress code for the experience - just be considerate of the mirror-floors in some rooms ;-)

Can I transfer my tickets to another person?
Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free. It is as easy as clicking “Transfer Tickets” on your ticket on the Fever App. Please
contact us for additional help. Make sure to include our ticket order number.
